Shakeology Balls

Tuesday, November 5, 2013

My FAVORITE thing about Shakeology is that you can do SO MUCH with it because it comes in a powder form. I LOVE to bake and of course found a way to make this IRRESISTIBLE TREAT! *Warning* You will not be able to stop eating these..but don't worry, they're guiltless ;)

Nutrition Facts:
80 Calories per ball
8 grams protein
Makes 12-15 balls

Did I mention the BEST part about this ...is....NO BAKE!!!! So it literally takes you 5 minutes and DONE..you're welcome. ;)

Here's what you need..you actually might have all of this hiding in the cupboards!
6 packets of Stevia -OR-Truvia

1/2 cup of Peanut Butter
                  1 cup of uncooked oats
1 cup PB2 powder (optional)
1/2 cup applesauce
1 scoop of Chocolate Shakeology

**NOTE: You can use Vanilla Shakeology instead and it will taste AMAZING too, can't decide which recipe I like better!

Mix it all together AND prepare to get your hands dirty...roll it up & stick in the freezer!

Frozen Banana Ice Cream

Wednesday, July 24, 2013

Eating clean is NOT easy, especially for people like me who have a SERIOUS sweet tooth! If you find yourself in a mouth watering situation this summer, watch out..because this stuff is DELISH! You might actually have a new addiction, that's how much I love this stuff & best of all, it's GUILT-FREE.

It's really easy to make:

Ingredients:
4 sliced and frozen bananas
1 spoonful of peanut butter
3 tsp. cocoa powder
additional toppings optional!

I have found that using a food processor works wayyyy better than a blender for some reason!
Lets get to it!

Put your frozen, sliced bananas into the food processor and blend until creamy! You'll need to push the mixture down if it starts to get grainy because we DON'T want that...this isn't a pie crust, although that's a good idea ;) See pictures below to see if you're on track!

Dress with your favorite toppings ~ I LOVE nuts! ENJOY...compliments of TheNotQuiteVegan
