Beachbody & Coaching Opportunities!

Monday, March 16, 2015

If you're not familiar with Coaching or Beachbody, then I can tune you into how it works.

BEACHBODY

Beachbody is a home workout program that comes in a variety of DVD's to fit your type of working out. It doesn't have a membership subscription nor do you have to spend another penny at the gas pump. You can keep your workouts forever and repeat them as many times as you want, regardless of your age, and it far outweighs the cost of a personal trainer, hence the saying "its like having a personal trainer right in your home". With over 24 workout programs, I'm certain one of them will fit your needs. Not to mention supplements, fitness gear, and a beauty product (Derm Exclusive).

       Top 3 Fitness programs

  1. INSANITY
  2. P90X (Includes Meal Plan Guide)
  3. BRAZIL BUTT LIFT/ 10 MINUTE TRAINER

HOW I GOT STARTED

3 years ago I was driving in my car, listening to the radio, and they were talking about this workout program called P90x. Growing up not having cable tv, only the basic channels, thats probably why I never heard about it, now I see it on TV all the time. I decided to do P90X because I liked lifting weights and that best suited me over cardio. I also ordered Shakeology, the Recovery formula and still use it today. Now I have over a MILLION YouTube video views of my results and it keeps growing; I feel like I connected with the world on a whole new level. Check out my YouTube Channel!

COACHING

Coaching is a business opportunity where you can earn an income while helping others. Whether you haven't started yet or if you've been doing the program for the past couple years, you can sign up whenever. Whoever wants to be a coach can be a coach, as long as you're 18 or older. You're helping others achieve their goals which is a rewarding experience in itself.  The incentives are better than any company I've worked for. You can get free trips, cycle bonuses, 2 star bonuses and higher up in rank (the higher up in rank the bigger the bonus), contests, the Team Cup Challenge, coach leads, and discounted prices for being a coach.

        You don't have to be:

  1. A FITNESS EXPERT/NUTRITIONIST
  2. YOUR GOAL WEIGHT
  3. WORKING MORE THAN YOU WANT TO

You may be thinking there are too many Coaches already.  Or there are too many people doing the program.

You're right, there are a lot of coaches, but how many actually work the business?  Less than 1/3 actually stick to it. A lot of people will give up within the first 2 months because they don't give it time. I've seen people do nothing (literally nothing) and I've also seen people do very well right from the get-go. Anybody can give up, but the ones that stick to it and try-- do succeed. I've seen people surpass me within the first 3 months of signing up. Am I jealous? Hell yeah!!!! but they obviously worked for it and they deserve it. Everybody does, I love seeing people succeed and reading their success stories and where they came from makes it all worth it. I've gotten to know so many people (people I can call my friends) from all over the US and Canada.

There's also a new generation being born. People all over the country turn 18 everyday.  Women get pregnant, or gain weight as they get older and want to lose the weight.  Men eat and drink until they get fed up with themselves. Face it, our bodies change all the time. Everybody craves a lifestyle change once in a while. Some people are born to be fitness junkies and will enjoy these programs and what we have to offer. Also, Summer is coming up and they want to get that  "BEACHBODY LOOK" or "the holidays just passed, so I need to lose a few pounds".  There are always opportunities and potential awaiting!

How does it work?

  • You would sign up as a coach and your mentor would be ME!! :)  I'm also known as your upline/sponsor coach
  • I would contact you via ( phone, email, Facebook, text messaging etc), whatever you feel comfortable with and we would discuss in detail how everything works.
  • You would be encouraging others to try Beachbody products and encouraging them to sign up as a coach as well (sharing your experiences--> not selling).
  • Once you sign up 2 coaches you'll be known as EMERALD (your first rank in the business). The more coaches you sign up the higher your "GEM" status will be and the greater your commissions will be

  1. Sign up 2 coaches you will be (Emerald)
  2. Sign up 4 coaches and have 2 of them be Emerald and you will be (Ruby)
  3. Sign up 8 coaches and have 2 of them be Emerald and you will be (Diamond)
  4. Then after that if you continue to grow your team you would be known as a "Star Diamond" and you can achieve a 1-15 star diamond status. The more personally sponsored coaches, the higher your star diamond status is.
  5. You can also open up what is known as a 2nd business center, but you can only do this when you're a 2 Star Diamond

  • Even if you sell just the products you're still receiving a commission.
  • You will be earning residual income and can be sleeping, on vacation, or doing what is most important to you and STILL earning an income! How cool is that?!

How much do I make?

As a private and reserved person I never announce or boast about my paychecks. When other people ask me I'll usually reply with " not too bad" or " I do OK", only my accountant knows. If you message me I can show you my earnings and we can discuss the possibilities this company has to offer. I am able to support myself and my family and currently am a full-time, stay-at-home Beachbody Coach.

Making Dreams a Reality With Beachbody

Tuesday, March 3, 2015

We all go through life wondering what's to become of us. We dream about what our lives will be like in the future. As a young girl, I always wanted to be married, with a new home, kids, pets, a new car, and a good job. I believe thats the American Dream. There's nothing wrong with that and some of us do achieve it. But when we start struggling through life and hit some bumps in the road, it makes us wonder what really lies ahead. Some people get lucky and never hit a bump in the road, others do and continue on and make it, while the remaining never seem to make it. Unfortunately thats just the way life goes. If you don't take chances, you'll never be able to advance in life.

I took a chance 3 years ago when I first heard about Beachbody and the coach mentorship program. Yes I had a job at the time to get me by and since I was already doing P90x I figured why not. I was able to sign up 2 people under me and by doing that I was getting my chocolate shakes for free. Within a few months, I was picking up coaches left and right, just by showing them how I achieved my results. Now we fast forward to today. I'm half way done with my MBA program, work a part-time job, and I'm still doing Beachbody.  I get a check deposited in my bank from them every week, regardless of how much time I put into the business or not.

This past week I was given an opportunity with a company that most people would never get offered. I jumped at the chance because this could change my life forever and if it doesn't work out then I know it wasn't meant to be.  What I do know is I'll always have Beachbody to fall back on and deep down inside thats going to help me earn my American Dream.

How To: Pay Off Credit Card Debt!

Monday, February 23, 2015

Today is a HUGE STEP for me toward the life I design. I paid off one of my credit cards and put a huge chunk of change on another one. Let me tell you that a HUGE weight was lifted off my shoulders! In the past I couldn't imagine paying more than the minimum payment that was due because I have SO MANY credit cards...but today I just took a LEAP OF FAITH!

Paying off credit card debt AS SOON AS POSSIBLE is NECESSARY! Like myself, I'm sure you are saying that you cannot afford it...maybe not now, but you have to find a way!

  • Make a list of your debt: VISUALIZE YOUR LAST PAYMENT & HOW GREAT IT'S GOING TO FEEL TO PAY THAT BUGGER OFF!
  • Pay off the least amount first: IT BECOMES REAL & MORE ATTAINABLE TO ELIMINATE THE SMALLER DOLLAR AMOUNTS FIRST.
  • Skip unnecessary purchases: DO YOU NEED IT OR WANT IT? THIS IS HOW YOU GOT IN THIS PREDICAMENT IN THE FIRST PLACE. (in most cases)
  • Do it now: DON'T WAIT UNTIL REGRET SETS IN. DESIGN YOUR LIFE, DON'T LET COMPANIES OWN YOU BECAUSE YOU OWE THEM MONEY.
  • Make changes in your life: DUMP PEOPLE, THINGS, AND THE LIFESTYLE THAT DOESN'T MOVE YOU FORWARD, YOU DESERVE THE BEST FOR YOURSELF.
The faster your pay off your debt >> the happier you will be!

REMEMBER: SMALL CHANGES ARE BETTER THAN NO CHANGES!

Birthday Cheat Meal

Wednesday, February 18, 2015

When I began P90X, I decided not to allow myself to cheat for 3 weeks! It was SO TOUGH, but I knew that it would be worth it. When I did P90X the first time, I followed the same rule and I got phenomenal results! Another reason I wanted to wait 3 weeks is because I just knew that I would be having the Biggest Cheat Meal Ever on my Birthday....I was absolutely correct!!

*Warning: If you are on a fitness kick like me who is not currently having a cheat meal...you may be extremely jealous and HANGRY!
In case you were not aware...

We are off to celebrate!

MMM...my FAVORITE! Old Forge Style Sicilian Pizza!

Birthday Cheesecake!!

Birthday Cupcakes ...Seriously the BEST buttercream icing!

2nd Birthday cake...I can really feel the pounds...I mean love!

Birthday Flowers! I did NOT eat these HAHA...these were the only non-calorie gift!

How To: Lose Weight With A Reward System

Wednesday, February 18, 2015

I remember when I was doing my first round of Beachbody, someone mentioned that you should always set your goals small.  By setting 10lb weight loss goals every month, I was able to achieve my desired weight. When I hit those 10lb goals........I rewarded myself!  At the beginning of the month I would think about something that I really WANTED but didn't NEED.  If I hit my goal at the end of the month, I would treat myself! By doing this, I was able to stay focused and motivated me even more. Not only was I looking better, but I was feeling super confident and more beautiful in my own skin!

These are some great examples of Goals and Rewards: (food is not a reward)

My Favorite Treats!

  • Mani/Pedi
  • Hair Appointment
  • Shopping Spree: New Clothes
  • Romantic Date Night out with Boyfriend
  • New Purse
  • Jewelry
  • Spa Day

What if you're trying REALLY hard, you're eating healthy, and doing everything right but you're only seeing minimal results?  Super frustrating!!! --->This happens to me and its happening right now!

So far, I've lost 8lbs, I'm 2lbs short of my goal for this month. The measurements that I've taken, show that I'm still losing inches. I'm happy with that, because inches are what other people see you as. Only you know what the scale says! If this is happening to you, fat is turning into muscle and remember >> muscle weighs more than fat. If you're still losing inches, but not weight...do not quit...it's working!

Always keep in mind a little thing called .....The Compound Effect....it's the little things you do daily that add up to something huge later. Every little step you take is part of a larger journey. Never discredit all of the hard work you did, nor put yourself down!

Here is a list of my TOP 10 alternatives:

Tic Tacs

P90x Protein Bar

Raisins

Fruit

Hersheys Pure Dark Chocolate (bite size individual packs)

Ice Breaker Sours

Shakeology

A Friend For Teddy!

Sunday, February 8, 2015

We are ready to expand our little family of three into a family of four! Teddy is now 4 months old and he just seems like he needed a playmate. Being a stay-at-home Beachbody coach, I was home 24/7, but he really needed a companion in his own species. Two dogs are not always right for everyone, so we did a lot of thinking before deciding to bring a new puppy home. I did a lot of research on adopting puppies, and God put it in my heart to adopt a puppy from a foster home. The particular foster home that I adopted our new puppy from rescues animals from kill shelters and transfers them to foster homes that will care for the animal until an adopter comes along.

We actually have been searching on adoptapet.com and petfinder.com for the puppy that stuck out to us. Louie, a 10 month old Cockapoo really stood out to us as the one we wanted to adopt and who would get along best with our energetic 4 month old Pomeranian. Louie was born in a shelter in South Carolina who was transported to a foster home here in Pennsylvania.

We decided to keep the name Louie, because that is the name he recognized his whole life. When I went to meet him, he was very scared of me and other people. He allowed me to take him on a short walk to build a relationship with him before bringing him home. As soon as I brought him home, he was unsure of the new place, but Teddy quickly was trying to build a relationship with him. Louie sat on the couch for a few hours eating treats until he was comfortable to play with Teddy. Since that moment, they were inseparable!

We have been working with Louie to familiarize himself with other people and to take away that fear. The first time we went out for ice cream at a small family farm, he bolted and dragged me back to the car. He was very afraid of Adam for the first few months, until Adam worked with him and took him on walks. His favorite thing to do is to go on walks and be in nature. Allowing him to do what he loves has really opened him up and made him less afraid. Now he enjoys meeting other dogs, going to parks, and being in his forever home.

Louie is really the best dog that we could have asked for. He knows where he came from and now that he has a fur-ever home, his attitude is always so positive and he's always so thankful, showing us with his body language. I strongly suggest rescuing animals from shelters and foster homes. They are lonely and relying on someone to give them a chance. They deserve all of your love, and after adopting Louie, I have realized how important saving a dog's life is. Please consider opening your heart and home to another animal from a shelter or foster home. They will be so grateful to you that you chose them to have a wonderful fur-ever home.

Our First Puppy!

Adam & I decided to add a new addition to our lil family!

One day, I went to the pet store --ALONE ---> bad idea and I came home with this little bundle of fluff. His name is Teddy....I really think it suits him! He is a Pomeranian and weighs 3lbs.

This lil guy is  star, he LOVES to meet & greet EVERYONE! He's super smart, energetic, and a big trouble maker! Stay tuned for more Teddy Pictures!

Top Coach Recognition Board

Today, I am so excited to speak about my team! Without them I wouldn't be where I am today, and for that I'm so grateful! They have accomplished so much in a short amount of time. These ladies have chosen to become entrepreneurs and they help other people change their own circumstances. You don't have to have a business degree to be successful, all you need is a clear vision of where you want to take your life. No matter what the circumstances are, you can still be a part of this business. Most of us are stay at home moms, enrolled in college, or working a full-time job and want an extra source of income. For some ladies on my team, coaching is their ONLY source of income. We find time in our daily busy schedules to commit to helping other people and working our businesses. For example, I currently work part-time all working toward my MBA. This business really can take off for anyone if you put hardwork and dedication into it. I never thought I would earn as much as I do now and that is the ONLY reason I need to work part-time. I am able to devote the majority of my time on my school work and helping people one-on-one to achieve their goals.

If you're wondering what that little pink bubble in the corner of their picture represents, it represents the number of lives these ladies have changed, along with an added bonus to their paychecks! The women you see recognized above are only a small fraction of my team. I'm thankful for everyone, however, these ladies pictured above are recognized because they strived the hardest to be top coaches. I have no doubt that by the end of next year, these ladies will be more successful than they are now. I'm so proud of all of you!

P90X Daily Progress

Tuesday, February 3, 2015

Today, after waking up and jumping on the scale, I can see that I am right on track! I have been consistently losing weight and today I just lost another pound--so exciting! I'm right on track to meet my 90 day goal, which is to lose a minimum of 20 lbs. I chose 20lbs because its achievable, realistic, and anything more than that is a bonus! Consistency when losing weight is a real mood booster and motivator, every time I see another pound or an inch off, I automatically know it's going to be a good day! Today was so important for me to see that -1lb on the scale because (ladies) when it's that time of the month, you know you gain water weight. This can be a real turn-off because it confuses us as to if what we are doing is really working. The key is to ignore gains and focus on the finish, you will see that with consistency and determination you can achieve anything!

Here in Pennsylvania the weather is outrageously cold and miserable-- 17 degrees, yikes! When the weather outside is frightful, it's delightful being inside my little house with my loved ones. It's such a great time to be cozy & get my workout on!!  If you live in a state that gets dumped on with snow in the winter, you can start to get some real Winter blues. You need to keep in mind that Spring is right around the corner-- get motivated and pop in a workout DVD. This way you can get your workout in and increase your mood.

Speaking of workouts, I just got done with my Kenpo X workout. For those of you who aren't familiar with it, its a combination of kickboxing and martial arts. I think the reason I do the workouts is because I get to have my P90X recovery drink! This is the most amazing thing on the planet! For those who don't know, it tastes like an orange creamsicle. It's really important to have a recovery drink after workouts because it replenishes your body after your workout and helps repair your muscles. It also aides in easing muscle soreness which is definitely a huge plus.

Note: There are so many recovery drinks and protein shakes out on the market today. Some consist of good ingredients and others are filled with unhealthy fillers, so do your re
search before you purchase one to make sure it is the perfect fit for you.

Our First Home!

Sunday, January 25, 2015

We lived at the apartment for a little over 1 year and decided to purchase our first home! We opted for a small starter home to make it easier on ourselves and save money for our dream home in the future.

Luckily, Adam's sister was purchasing a new home & hers was going on the market! We were in luck, it was perfect for us!

We actually accumulated a LOT of stuff while living in the apartment and needed a larger place for storage, this suburban 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom home with a yard was exactly what we were looking for! The apartment was incredible, but we quickly learned that being in the center of town was not for us. We quickly favored moving to quiet, suburban living, and OH what a difference!

Our First Apartment

Sunday, January 25, 2015

Like any other girl, I was so thrilled when Adam asked me to move in with him! It was the next step in the relationship!!

This is the first time both of us had ever lived with anyone else, so we wanted the experience to be special. We looked and looked and looked for an apartment that stood out to us. We desired somewhere safe, modern, and spacious that we could call our own.

At the beginning of the search we were very hopeful and thought it would be easy peasy! As it turned out, we seen some pretty filthy places. Then to make it 100 times worse, we seen some tenants who carried guns on them at all times. At one point, I was just praying to make it out of the place alive, as a fight went down in front of our eyes because a tenant was "looking out for us" and told us about the cockroaches in the cabinets. Let me just make it clear that we don't live in a large city as your impression might be telling you.

When meeting with the landlord for another potential apartment, we spent almost 3 hours with him as we went to tell us about how he spies on his tenants from his home across the street. He even mentioned about how he busted a roof party and seemed very proud of it.

After going through all of our options we decided to wait. Patience is a virtue because our DREAM apartment happened to be on the market & we snagged it!

Our dream apartment is this cute 1 bathroom, 1 bedroom, laundry room/closet, and studio dining/kitchen open floor plan. This place is in the center of town which makes it close to everything. The BEST part is it that it's completely updated, modern, uses an access code to enter, has an elevator, and is exactly what we were looking for!!

Week 2 P90X! Are you still Motivated?

Tuesday, January 13, 2015

It is currently WEEK 2 of P90X and I've been thinking... a LOT of people come to me and say that it's easier for them to do the workouts than it is to follow the meal plan...or that they don't know what they need to be eating.. I cannot stress enough how important it is to follow the meal plan guide that comes with your workout. In the guide, it tells you what to eat, when to eat, and how to cook it. The only thing they don't do it shop for you or feed you. What more do you want? A lot of people have this mentality: "Well I kinda know what I should be eating." If your not 100% sure, then you're not getting 100% results, that can be the difference between a size 6 and a size 8!

Let me tell you that I wanted to see if what I was preaching was correct or I was just overreacting. Well I completed a workout program where I did not follow any meal plan, I just packed it in...Anything that I wanted! Guess what my results were.....I lost 5lbs in 90 days. What a waste of time! In comparison, when I did P90X while following the meal plan, I lost 30lbs in 90 days. So you choose, you either go all in, or don't bother wasting your time if you're not 100% serious about getting results.

So I'm still going strong, I committed to no cheat meals for three weeks. Do you know how much will-power that takes? It is unreal how much of a mental challenge a weight loss journey is rather than a physical struggle. I did not have even one cheat meal, snack or sugary drink. Did I have cravings? Of course I did, its normal, I'm human; I wanted everything I could think of so far in desperation! Even the dogs were getting treats and I had to watch them enjoy it. BUT, I have lost 4lbs so far this week and it keeps me going!

Typically, you should throw out all your junk food, outta sight, outta mind! Of course I have a boyfriends who is not dieting or working out, so I have tons of goodies hiding in the cupboards! For many of your, the struggle will be real...most of you will be on this journey alone and the popping of a chip bag or the crunch of a cookie, will start to really test you. On the plus side, he really supports me and will occasionally meal prep, cook, and shop for me. If you're like me and you have people around you, especially in your house...always remember the reason WHY you're doing this. You are doing this for a reason, as soon as you start to think that you could stop, you will be holding yourself back from TRUE happiness. The only one you are competing against is yourself, stop being the enemy.

2015 New Year Resolution

Friday, January 9, 2015

Hey everyone! I have to be honest and as hard as it is to admit, I gained weight. I had a really INCREDIBLE P90X transformation and I thought I would NEVER gain that weight back EVER! Look what actually happened....I gained it back plus 50lbs more!

I am so embarrassed to admit my weight gain to you, but I need you all to hold me accountable and I will do the same for you. Now that we're starting off with a New Year, I figured it would be a good idea to get back in shape and commit. It isn't going to be easy, but I will do it...my goal is to lose 96lbs in 2015. You can call it a New Year's Resolution, but really I want to be a great role model to you all. It's just time for a change. These long and cold winter days are hard on everybody, but with Spring around the corner and a few weddings to go to this Summer, my reason for getting in shape just got more real!

When I did P90x, 3 years ago, I followed that diet to a "T", and I did every single workout. I was focused and determined back then, I had a CLEAR DIRECTION!!!! So I guess I owe it to myself and all of you to take a leap and challenge myself again. Below are my starting measurements and before pictures...which NEED to be taken so you can measure your progress. Remember always focus on progress, not perfection!

Starting Measurements (Start Date: 01/05/2015)

Weight: 221

Waist: 34
Hips: 47
Chest: 42.5
Right Arm: 14
Left Arm: 14
Right Leg: 27
Left Leg: 26.5
Body Fat %: 38.2
Pant Size: 16
30 Day Goals:

It's important to always have MEASURABLE short term goals instead of hoping for crazy unattainable results. It's realistic for me to lose 10lbs and 12" by 02/03/2015.

Fit Tip: Focus on INCHES over POUNDS!

Inches are what you see in the mirror, pounds are in your mind. Only you know your weight!
